St. Ray

A mixed media portrait of longtime Laguna Blanca PE coach Ray Robitaille, gilded with 22K gold leaf in a strange mishmash of Byzantine saint murals and retro Walkman inspired lines. Derived from a 1984 yearbook photo from his early days at the school, its painted with acrylic ink/paint on a 24”x 30” wood panel.
