St. Wolf

A mixed media portrait of Wolfgang Hess, a fellow I worked with for a short time painting houses. His face has this strange fuck-off-ish familiarity that hints of the lunchtime tales of lost boats, lost fortunes, motorcycle quests, and painting silos at Vandenberg Base. My friend Jeff texted me this picture as a joke, so this was the response painting.
